It's been quiet recently but not for lack of work in the shadows. We completely rewrote the Android App to bring multi instrument functions while keeping features that characterized the current Android PRO app (individual rock diameter, practice mode, etc.) This update is the first step in a complete overhaul of the software environment for Chronocurl which starts with Android and will be ported to iOS in the future.
This first video briefly introduces you to the windows in the new Chronocurl 5.0 app.
Here's a quick overview of the Panels:
- Home. Selection of practice type and connection to open instruments
- Play. Where the data is displayed during practice
- Archive. Where all the practices are automatically stored
- Player. For Game type practice, or tracking data for analysis, you can enter player names
- Practices. Where you can create and consult all different types of practices
- Club. Where you can enter rock diameter for different sheets in different clubs.
It's a good idea to check out the Manual for our iOS app when you have a second (https://chronocurl.com/ images/Manuals/Manual_iOS_V1. 3.pdf) especially tables 9 and 10 which describe the units we use to describe times and speed. For current iOS users, the transition should be pretty smooth.
