Measuring speed

While the stone cuts the path of the laser beam, time is measured. Using the diameter of the stones stored in the software, a speed can be calculated. It is common to measure speed at the first hog-line (B).

Measuring Split Times

Instruments are positioned on lines between which a split time need to be measured. (A,B, or C). Every time a laser beam is cut, a timestamp is recorded by the app. Splits are calculated and displayed. In a hog to hog practice (B,C), you don’t have to move your instruments around or interact with the software, you just have to throw your stones.

All the delivery is subconsious from the moment a shot has been decided. During training, the athlete repeats a task until it is imprinted in the subconscious.

You no longer have to wait for the rock to finish travelling to imprint the image in the subconscious. It relieves the player from maintaining focus on sensation longer than a few seconds. The player can quickly match his sensation to a split time and repeat the process until he can predict accurately his own splits.
